Samsung brings Galaxy A7 of 6 3mm thick in March in Netherlands – Tweakers
Samsung has for the Dutch market announced a new addition to the Galaxy series A: A7, with the thinnest 6.3mm up to now should be in stores in March. The device has a 5.5 “screen with resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and a Snapdragon 615-soc Qualcomm.
The Galaxy A7 was previously announced for the Asian market, but according to the device from Samsung Dutch March purchase. There is a choice of white, black and gold. The suggested retail price is 509 euros higher than in Asian countries. The Galaxy A7 is in addition to the new A-series of Samsung Galaxy, where previously the A3 and A5 models came out.
Most striking about the Galaxy A7 is its thin case. With the smartphone is 6.3mm thinner than the Galaxy A5, measuring a thickness of 6.7mm. The top model in the Galaxy S series, the S5 is considerably thicker 8.1 mm. Further, the housing of the same type of metal as Galaxy Galaxy A3 and A5.
The case is the Snapdragon 615-soc Qualcomm built in. It has eight cores of the Cortex A53-type with a clock speed of 1.5 GHz. The soc further support for 4G LTE through and is supported by 2GB of RAM. 16GB of storage is present which can be expanded with micro-sdkaartjes and the battery has a capacity of 2600mAh. The screen is Super AMOLED type with a diagonal of 5.5 “and a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels.
The previously released Galaxy Galaxy A3 and A5 are respectively 4.5″ and 5, 0 “smaller, and have the Snapdragon 400 a less powerful processor. Both of these devices are already available in the Netherlands.
